WHY I STARTED THIS

Every season, dancers outgrow gear they barely wore.

Costumes. Shoes. Warm-ups. They don’t wear out — they just get too small, or it’s time for something new for the next routine. That gear doesn’t disappear. It sits in a closet. Or worse, it gets thrown away. Meanwhile, other dance families are stretching every dollar just to keep their kids dancing.

I’ve seen it up close — my own closet, my teammates’ closets, all full of barely-worn gear nobody needs anymore. It never made sense to me. So I started DanceWearShare — a place to buy, a place to sell, a place where nothing goes to waste. Sell what you’ve outgrown. Find what you actually need. 10% of the total goes to Dancers  Against Cancer.

I know how lucky I am to get to do something I love this much. Some kids don’t get that chance — especially kids who are sick, like kids fighting cancer. So 10% every sale goes to Dancers Against Cancer, because every dancer deserves the chance to keep dancing. No matter what.

My mom is a cancer survivor, so helping Dancers Against Cancer means a lot to me.

Buy something. Sell something. Help another dancer keep going.

That's dance it forward.
